Tracy Arm, Alaska

These are pictures taken at Tracy Arm, Alaska. We were very lucky because it was foggy in the morning but by the time our ship got into Tracy Arm it had lifted. We were so glad too because it was beautiful. There were icebergs floating in the water, waterfalls and beautiful mountains. The water was a beautiful blue green. The icebergs were my favorite. Some were little and some were big. They had a blue tint to them in the sun but when the sun went behind the clouds they became a vibrant blue. Absolutely beautiful and we took lots of pictures of them. These are photos of Rob, Heather and I on the ship. Our cabin came with blankets and we used them when we were out on our veranda. We were so lucky to have a cabin with such a large veranda. Ours was especially large because my parents cabin was right next to ours and they opened the veranda so we had one large one. We spent a lot of time watching the icebergs on our veranda. The sketch for this layout was from Let's Scrap.

Key West

Here are some photos of Andy, Heather and I enjoying ourselves in Key West on the observation deck of our hotel the Crowne Plaza on Duval Street. Our hotel was in the highest building in Key West and was one of the best places to observe the sunset. Unfortunately we didn't get to see the beautiful sunset because it was overcast. We did take these great photos of us though.

The Florida Keys

We recently went to Key Largo, Florida where Rob and Andy went scuba diving. They did quite a few dives on the reef, a ship wreck and also a night dive. Heather and I went snorkeling on the reef while they were diving below us and it was so cool watching them dive while we snorkeled. We celebrated Heather's birthday while in Key Largo with dinner at Jimmy Johnson's "Big Chill". We all celebrated with a delicious Key Lime Coolata frozen drink and Key Lime pie for dessert. It rained during dinner and we had to move inside from our waterside table on the deck but after dinner the rain stopped and we watched the beautiful sunset over the gulf. We also visited Key West and saw the southernmost point in the United States where we were only 90 miles from Cuba. We were closer to Cuba than Miami. It was hot, hot, hot in Key West but the Key Lime pie kept us cool. We all had a great trip and here are some of our memories from it.
