Gardens of Stanley Park in Vancouver

The flowers in Stanley Park are so very beautiful. Here is a two page layout I did of the gardens. I still have lots of pictures to scrap but here are some of my favorite. These photos are of Rob, Sandy, Heather, Bob and Loretta (Grandad and Grandma) on our trip to Vancouver and Alaska last summer. The flowers were so gorgeous we all went crazy taking pictures of them! I made up this page on my own using the Studio Calico kit "Baker's Dozen" from last month.

Three Generations

This photo is one of my favorites from Vancouver. In the photo are my mom, Loretta, myself, Sandy, and my daughter, Heather. It was taken in the rose gardens at Stanley Park. It was such a lovely spot for a photo. While we were sitting on the steps we could smell the lavendar in the gardens which are in the photo. It smelled wonderful. Lavendar is my favorite scent. I used a sketch from Creative Scrappers #94 for this photo. The papers were by Melissa Frances. Thanks for checking out my newest layout.

True Colors

These photos were taken at our hotel the River Rock Casino outside of Vancouver. There was a boat dock behind the hotel and these photos were taken there. We loved to go out on the dock in the evenings to watch the beautiful sunsets. I was so excited because one night we saw a beaver swimming in the water next to the dock. I took a short video of him swimming in the water too. We had a good time. The first layout was done from a sketch from Sketch Inspiration and the second layout I did myself.

Stanley Park

These photos were taken at Stanley Park in Vancouver. The gardens are the most beautiful gardens I've ever seen. While in the park we ate lunch at Prospect Point, saw the totem poles and walked over to this lookout where we saw the lighthouse and bridge that our ship went under on our way to Alaska. When we sailed under the bridge there were people on it who were cheering and wishing us well. The park was my favorite place in Vancouver. I did this layout for Sketch Inspirations.
